Hello everyone, For all you fans in the United Kingdom, I'm happy to say that my debut album 'Poet' is now available there through the Femme Metal Webzine. Just click on the link belowe and Caz and the rest of the Femme Metal Zine gang will assist you: http://www.femmemetalwebzine.com/apps/webstore/products/show/71831 I also have to thank Radio Zeta for being the newest radio station to spin my tunes. Their rotation is every Wednesday and Saturday so be sure to listen and email in requests for my songs:) The link to the station is belowe: http://www.radiozeta-digital.com Radio Zeta also sets up profiles for the artists they play. The nice profile they set up for me is in the link belowe: http://radiozeta-digital.com/tiffany_apan.html Also, thanks to Femme Metal Webzine, I will soon have a forum set up for me. It is still in the process of being set up and we will let you know when it is completely up and running. On a sadder note, I went to send an email saying hello to a theatre group I worked with frequently when I was in high school in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I visit their website for the first time in years only to find that one of the theatre's most beloved members and contributers passed away in April:( Reverend Joseph T. Gilbert (or "Father Joe" as we would call him) was not only an asset to the arts and the community but he was also a dear friend. I will more than likely post more of my thoughts in my Road Journal. Joseph T. "Father Joe" Gilbert You are greatly missed 1953-2008

Hi everyone, Just a quick update with some news. First, don't forget our show tomorrow night at the Blue Violet Cafe in Rochester, PA. The Blue Violet Cafe is located on Brighton and the show starts at 8pm and it is $4.00 at the door. Of course, we will have copies of the album along with the Halloween Treats Special:) For more info on location, see my concert schedule on the myspace page and or visit: http://www.bluevioletcafe.com I am also happy to announce some recent chart placemets. Numberonemusic.com once again had me in their top 5 Ambient Artists Charts. Only this time instead of being at number 5 like the other times, I was bumped up to number 4. The Persephone's Netherrealm Remix of 'Ghost' peaked at number 3 on IAC.com's Ambient Music Charts. One week into being entered into the playlists on Artistopia Radio, 'Scarborough Fair' was # 40 in their top 40 World Music Chart. Hopefully the song will continue to climb:) October will bring many new articles on the album 'Poet.' Check for an awesome review in Twisted Dreams Magazine, an article in Fireworks Magazine in the UK (plus the remix of 'Ghost' appearing on the magazine's Catz n Claws comp CD), a nice review in the current issue of Outcast Fanzine in Greece as well as a couple others. October will also bring more airplay. I'm set to have music from my album played on a MySpace Podcast on October 6 and on Rough Edge Radio's Podshow on October 1. I will post the links to the podshows and magazines (and how to obtain them) tomorrow morning. Now, I'm going to take a nap and get things ready for tomorrow's show. With recovering from being sick and having to catch up on everything, I'm pretty tired right now:) Take care, Tiffany

Hello everyone, Yes, it has been a little while since I actually made a real blog post. But, alot of productiveness has been going on here. First, I want to say that the music video for the song "Run Away and Hide" is officially completed and edited! Alisa Lawton (director of the video) submitted the finished version for my and the DOP's approval via email and I will be sending it to the makeup artist to get her ok. Once it's approved by all parties involved it will be presented to all you lovely people out there and will be appearing on various music tv and interent shows. We will keep you posted on all that. With the "Run Away and Hide" video completed, we are beginning work on a new video. This one is for the song "Ghost (Persephone's NetherRealm Remix)." We will be working on this video with One Eyed View Studios in Massillion, OH. We are in pre production working on the video's synopsis and (with all the fun Halloween stores opening up) shopping around for costume pieces (which also may end up in future shows) for the video. We will be updating you as we progress. I have also been at work writing for the second album. Jason is preparing to record his solo album. We do have a few rough demos completed and I am completing a song on my keyboard. We do plan to incorporate these songs into the show once they are ready and I plan to begin the recording process for my second album in the beginning of 2009. We are, however, in the process of recording "Three Pale Queens" with Bonfire Night which will appear on my second album and Bonfire Night's debut album. Speaking of recording, I am set to appear on two more compilation CDs. One is a CD featuring female artists/female fronted bands from the Pittsburgh area entitled 'La Femme Electrique.' Some of the other bands on the CD include Ayris, Surviving the Odyssey, Una de Luna, and more. The songs I have featured on this CD are 'Warrior (Soldier for Myself)' off of my 'Poet' album and an unreleased accapella track entitled 'Lost Little Girl.' Some of you who came out to my shows may be familiar with 'Lost Little Girl' as I have included it in my shows numerous times. But this will be the first time you can have the song on a recording. The other comp CD is the Catz n Claws CD put out by the British music magazine, Fireworks Magazine. The song 'Ghost (Persephone's NetherRealm Remix)' will be featured on this one. There will also be a brief interview in Fireworks Magazine with all bands involved on the Catz n Claws comp CD. Another magazine (this one based in Florida) will be featuring a wonderful review on my album "Poet" in their October issue. This magazine is Twisted Dreams Magazine. Here is a sneak preview of their review on my album: "Think of a forest and a well-used trail, shafts of light here and there penetrating the oncoming gloom...Tiffany Apan has a unique voice…a very unique voice that she uses to catapult her music beyond what other contemporaries have done."~Andrea, Twisted Dreams Magazine (Oct 2008 issue) To view the rest of the review (and read about other cool bands, writers, etc), get your hands on a copy of the October issue of Twisted Dreams Magzine! Visit their myspace (in my top friends) for more details. We've also got some great reviews from Metal Maidens Magazine in The Netherlands and StreetVoice UK Music Magazine in the United Kingdom! We were in New Jersey for Monster Mania 11 this passed weekend. We shared a booth with Troma Entertainment and the weekend was success. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and bought a copy of the album. Thanks to everyone who supported independant art through us and Troma! We had the pleasure of sharing the table with indie filmmaker Pericles Lewnes ('Redneck Zombies,' 'Loop'). Jason also picked up the 'Make Your Own Damn Movie' boxed set for when he makes the film he's planning to make. It does have alot of valuable info including how to learn from the mistakes of others. We look forward to many more Monster Manias:) Pictures will be posted soon. Also, we have a photo shoot tomorrow with Odd from Surviving the Odyssey. So there will be more promo pics soon. Also, a new website is being worked on by our friend, Mark Kapsha. Well, I think that about covers everything for now. Have a nice weekend, Tiffany

Hi everyone, Well, we have officially wrapped filming for our first music video "Run Away and Hide." We shot literally all day this passed weekend and from what I saw, I am really excited about seeing the finished product which is in the editing process. Alisa did a great job filming, Jen took some awesome photo stills and Jenna did awesome with makeup:) Thanks to everyone who made the shooting of my first video a positive experience:) On top of that, I have some other news. Our friends at Deadpit Radio played excerpts from my album "Poet" on their show this passed Friday during part 1 of their interview with Bill Mosley. The show can still be heard in their archives. Visit http://www.deadpit.com and visit their archives. You can have a listen to the interview with Bill Mosley as well as a listen to them playing my album:) They also usually have the most recent show playing on their myspace page as well (they are in my top friends). Deadpit Radio has always been wonderful supporters of my endeavors and have played my music on their radio show before. Thanks to Creepy Kentuckian and Uncle Bill of Deadpit Radio. New press news! The folks at Oucast Fanzine have released their 7th issue that featured a review of my single/maxi CD, "Ghost." From what Curehead of Outcast Fanzine told me, it is a really nice review of my music and I will be posting some of it when I recieve the magazine and the english translation of the review (Outcast Fanzine is based in Greece). Their next issue is slated for September of 2008 and they have offered to do a review on the entire album "Poet" as well as an interview, so watch for those coming up in their September issue (Issue 8). Also, remember to check out the latest issue of the German music magazine, Crawling Tunes Magazine. It is my second appearance with the magazine as my song "Run Away and Hide" is featured on the compilation disc that accompanies the magazine. Crawling Tunes and Outcast Fanzine are both in my top friends. Check them out, pick up the magazines, and add them:) They rock! There is also a new radio station in the mix. The lovely people at the Boston-based Lights Out Radio Show will be featuring my song "Ghost" on their radio show about the Paranormal and Unexplained. Hey guys, After speaking with Jason and seeing how poor his health still is at this moment and while I’m ’performable’ but not at my best, we have rescheduled the show at Borders on East Liberty to June 20. We are really bummed and really wanted to do our in store show there if it weren’t for this stupid flu that is going around. We will be in Cleveland tomorrow though so we will pretty much be sleeping all day tonight and tomorrow. It will be better in the end as we don’t want to get our audience or anyone else sick. Plus, we want to be at our best and really give a good show. Hope you all understand and can make it out on June 20. You can still tune in to The SoupyGato Radio show tonight and listen to my music being featured. http://www.soupygato.com Tiffany

Hi everyone, I have some exciting news:) First, as many of you probably know I am collaborating with Chuck Owsten and Bonfire Night for the Arthurian Celtic Rock song, "Three Pale Queens." In addition to that, I was approached by Trance music producer from Fresno, California, Der Mystik, to lend my vocals to a track for an album project he is making. I just recieved the song and it is definatly different from what you guys have been hearing me do, but it is a very cool song and I'm really looking forward to working on it. So you'll be hearing me venture a little into the world of Trance/House/Electro music:) To hear some samples of Der Mystik's work, visit his myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/paulodermunoz With my album's release just around the corner (Tuesday:D), I am announcing my first ever contests for my friends and fans to win an autographed copy of my album, "Poet!" There are two contests and both will be going on throughout the months of March. For the first contest, if you are on my monthly newsletter (available on my myspace page and the homepage on my website), you are automatically entered to win. For those not on my newsletter, you can do one of three things: either sign up for my newletter and you will automatically be entered in the contest (plus get monthly updates and other perks) or you can simply post a reply to this blog or send me a private message stating that you would like to be entered in the contest. 2 names will be drawn on April 1, 2008 and the winners will be contacted via email or pm and their names will be posted in my areas on the web. Visit http://www.myspace.com/tiffanyapanmusic to join my newsletter:) The second contest is being presented by the Femme Metal Webzine and Forums. This contest in based on 'audience participation' on the Femme Metal forums. As their Artist for the Month of March, I will be donating some merchandise (including an autographed copy of Poet) to the Femme Metal forum moderators. Here are some details about this contest from the Femme Metal moderators: "From January 1st 2008 Femme Metal Forum will be holding a competition for quality poster. QUALITY not QUANTITY. At the end of each week the person with the most quality posts/topics will be the winner and will recieve a Rosette in their signature. Then at the end of each Month the person who has the most quality posts/topics will recieve free band merchandise. The winner will be announced on the first of each Month." To join this contest, visit the Femme Metal Forums at http://femmemetalforum.com/index.htm The new issue of Twisted Dreams Magazine is now available. They advertised my album and tour in their Musical Coffins section, so support this magazine:) Visit them at http://www.myspace.com/twisteddreamsmagazine Finally, yes you read that correctly: a LIVE chat with me coming soon! I am teaming up with the wonderful people at Karmacaffe.com for this one. The first Live chat with me will be held in the new chatrooms at karmacaffe.com with the first chat being held on March 31, 2008 at 8pm-9pm EST. You can also look for advertisements and features on my music in upcoming issues of Outcast Fanzine (Greece) and Twisted Dreams Magazine (US). On March 7, I will be joining Chuck Owston and Bonfire Night at Excuses for the premiere of the song, "3 Pale Queens," the Arthurian song that features a duet between Chuck and myself and guest guitars from Jason English. We will also be headed to the studio soon to record this song. The evening on March 7 will feature full sets by the Celtic/Rock band Bonfire Night and the Metal/Punk/Rock band, Motorpsychos. Preorder 'Poet' by sending $13 ($10 for CD and $3 for shipping) via PAYPAL to PoetsLabyrinthMusic@gmail.com I also hope alot of you can join me on my tour! Alot of the concerts will be intimate ones, so you'll get the show up close and personal and (at some venues) possibly have tea with me before the show or coffee after the show:D We are also taping our show at The Art Center in Butler, PA on February 22 for the makings of a 'Poet' DVD. We are also seeking ways to even broadcast that show live on the internet for those of you whose city/state/country I am unable to make it to this time around. Speaking of taping, we are beginning work on the music videos! We are beginning the storyboards for "Ashes to Dust" and getting ideas for "Scarborough Fair" and 'Run Away and Hide." We plan to begin shooting of the videos in late February/early March, so stay tuned for those! There will also be collaborations with other artists either for my sophomore album or other side projects. Look for a collaboration with myself, Chuck Owston, and his band, Bonfire Night. We will be working on an Arthurian song entitled "Three Pale Queens" that will be a duet between Chuck and myself with Bonfire Night and Jason backing us up. The song will be on a future Bonfire Night recording as well as a Celtic/Old English songs EP I plan to release (expect to Chuck's mandolin playing on my version of 'Greensleeves' too:D) I will also be making a few appearances on Jason English's (my music collaborator and co producer) concept album he will be making upon the release of 'Poet.' There will also be remixes of two songs by Derek Pegritz (Nyarlathotep) and Josh Hartz (Debutante) for a remix EP we will also be releasing. Also to be anticipated: collaborations with singer/songwriter/vocal and piano instructor Penny Philips and Persephone's Dream frontwoman, Heidi Engel. All of these people or their bands are in my top friends, so check them out and add them:) Penny's music page is http://www.myspace.com/musicbypenny and she will be making her first release which will be a remix collaboration with a DJ. I'm very blessed to be able to know and work with so many talented people who can help in my bringing my ideas, thoughts, and concepts to life:) Also, look for my song, "Run Away and Hide" to appear on the Crawling Tunes Magazine compilation CD to go with their next issue. It will be my second time in this mag. Also look for tv appearances, more radio stations spinning my tracks, reviews of 'Poet,' some more magazine appearances, contests (both on my site and other sites), music videos, film releases, and hopefully more:) This is really exciting for both Jason and myself and I am so grateful to the talented musicians and producers who helped me bring 'Poet' to life and the wonderful friends and fans who helped with their support and words of encouragement. Thank you all and I hope to see some of you "on the road" :D Have a great evening! Tiffany

The song is an Arthurian (King Arthur, Camelot, etc) piece entitled "Three Pale Queens." I will also be releasing a remix EP that will feature remixes off of 'Poet' and will also include an unreleased a'cappella piece that I wrote. This will feature remixes by Jason and myself, and special guests Derek Pegritz of Nyarlathotep and Josh Hartz of Debutante. Jason English, my music collaborator, will also be working on his solo concept album on which I will also make a couple appearances. Of course, there is also my sophomore album for which we are still in the writing process. More tour info is in my concerts section on my myspace page:) Hi everyone! Well, those are my tour dates and yes I went a step furthur and named the tour "A Poet's Labyrinth." :D I was originally going to do the tour in two halves (this would have been the first half), but plans for that have changed a little. I will also be spending 2008 not only writing and recording my second album (which is tenatively slated for a late summer of 2009 release with a 2010 tour) but I plan to be releasing two EPs: one will be a Celtic EP of songs that didn't make it on Poet and the other will be a Remix EP. Release dates for these EPs will be posted as I get an idea of time frames and such. I may be adding one or two more tour dates. But for those of you whose city/state/country I cannot make it to, we plan to make one of the concerts a taped show that will be broadcast live on the internet throughout the world as well as a concert DVD! We'll let you know for sure which date that is although we do have one tenatively set. Jason is also working on his solo album once we have released Poet. We plan to begin taping the music videos for the featured songs on Poet in late winter/early spring. We all have many cool ideas:D As for performing during the last half of 2008, we will do shows but they will not be the Poet's Labyrinth Tour. These will be shows that will not only promote Poet, but my new EPs. I may even showcase a song or two from my second full length album and give you a little sneak peak of what's to come:) We do hope to cover much more ground when we tour for my second album and I also hope to obtain a way to be able to do some 'cirque de soliel-esque' flying in my shows:) We began working with Rowen Poole of the internationally acclaimed prog rock band, Persephone's Dream. He is helping us with the completion of Poet and will be assisting Jason with his solo album and me on my second album. He is working on remixing the Ghost Nether Realm Remix. So depending on what he does with it (whether he'll just clean up what we have or come up with a completely different version), there just may be three versions of Ghost on Poet! We're also doing the last of some of the vocals in his beautiful studio and we will be priveleged to share the stage with them on May 10 at Carnegie Music Hall in Munhall, PA during my tour. Rowen is also giving us great tips on putting together our stage show. Check out Persephone's Dream at http://www.persephonesdream.net or http://www.myspace.com/persephonedream As for our stage show, we are going for simple yet atmospheric. We will more than likely have to do two versions of the show one of them being slightly modified (as I don't think fog machines would be very feasible for Borders). I will also have a few meet n greets/promo appearances/CD signings. One of these will be held in May at the (haunted) Comfort Inn in Warren, OH. It will take place at the Eerie Frequency Sci-Fi/Horror Convention. This will be a big weekend as it will not only be a meet n greet with me, but I will also have a Poet's Labyrinth concert along with premiere screenings of three short films I am in. These films will be put onto DVD by Silver Springs Drive In Productions. One is "Monster's Night," another is "Home Invasion" (think The Others meets Home Alone) and another is an original supernatural short by Jason (I will be doing voiceovers in this one)! Speaking of films, "Heavy Mental" is set for a spring of 2008 release (I have a fun cameo as a deranged news reporter:D). Fall of 2008 will bring the release of a documentary based on Deadpit Radio that will feature an interview with me. Other featured interviews include Dee Snyder, PJ Soles, Debbie Rochon, Lloyd Kaufman, Tony Moran, Leonard Lies, and many others. I will also be finishing the horror/historical/drama film "Winslow Asylum" and have a supporting role in the X files inspired film 'The Pesque Isles.' Well, that is a little outline of what is to come in 2008. I will be sure to keep you all posted! Have a wonderful evening! Tiffany
