 In the very beginning, no matter if you're a quantum physicist, an astronomer, a Christian, a Muslim, or a Buddhist, we are taught that one thing - be it God, an ultra-dense ball of Matter, or an inside-out coconut - became many complex and multi-varied things - in other words, the Universe - us. There is something to the Uni bit in that title, though - the very Notion of One. How can this huge, many-vectored, dancing apparatus of Cosmic interplay still be only One thing? And also thus, the age-old question about the edge of the Universe, or whether it even has one. But the truth of the Matter (there's that word again) is that the Universe (God) has no beginning, and has no end, because the end and the beginning are the same thing.
There is a flaw in the Math - that one single factor becomes many products, and still can remain one thing. You cannot start rom One and get a product of an infinite many without another factor besides one to multiply (and if we really are talking about that cosmic One, all the more so), but if you take One and Divide it, you can achieve an infinite amount of complex, interacting fractions that are still a part of the Original and also a working, independent thing - an organism or a planet - that is a representative of that from which it has been Made.
I recall an old saying: "the Devil's in the Details". This doesn't make sense, just like so many of the other complexities of our Mad world, until it is considered in the context of this great Division. If we regard this Universe - this God - as representing the sum total of this vast matrix of Matter and Energy (the latter, incidentally, is the shifted stance of most QP's now - Matter is just a lower-oscillating form of Energetic Waveform), then we can regard its counterposing Division as representing that which some would call the Devil. Quantum physicists have now also begun to say that, indeed, the apparent distances (Differences, Divisions) of space and time are the work of Dark Energy, or Dark Matter. Until these new discoveries, they said that those increasing distances are the work of the Big Bang, ever-projecting outwards from that central Source. We now see that the two are actually the same theory, with the recently-added spin that it is Math and patterning that can be theoretically re-focused and reversed by the Mind percieving it (but that's another lesson for another day).
That Difference makes all the difference and none - because the Different and the Same, are the Same - two heads of the same coin of Life, that got tossed in the air an infinite amount of times since Whoever said "hey, let's see what's on the flip-side of this thing". We see this cosmic double-play in our own Solar System, in the fact that the ratio of Volume between the solar system and the Sun is some 9,999 / 1, but that the Mass of that One represents 99.98% of the whole volume again. This duality of Complexity vs. Unity, so we see, is perfectly balanced and ubiquitous throughout the universe, and can be better demonstrated by ancient Dharmic concepts like Yin and Yang than it can by any amount of applications in the Material universe. Indeed, if there has been one prevailing pattern of spirituality meeting materialism in the late 20th century, it is the Elite of quantum physics meeting with the Ancient tradition of the East. It's just a Matter of scientists admitting that they have been observing with their atom-blasters and spectroscopes what spiritual masters have been observing with their deepest Mind and Spirit for thousands of years. Even Einstein started by watching the light dappling through treetops and describing vague concepts on a therapists' chair to his Mathematician friend, who translated laws that are Etheric and Universal and Unbound into technology usable by our limited Machines.
We just came across the Duality AGAIN - in the contrast between all our working machines and complicated science, and the simplicity of the ancient dharmic masters. The Duality is EVERYWHERE, refracted in everything, and the ENTIRE GLOBE is going through the ultimate fusion - as we reach the end of this cycle of ultimate complexity of material application, and meet again the spiritual Oneness - and we must find a way to make that which was Sundered, Whole again. THIS IS THE WAY. THEY NEVER SEPARATED, EXCEPT BY APPEARANCE. ALL APPARENT DISCORD IS STILL A PART OF THE GREATER SYMPHONY. And many of us can agree that in this world, appearences hold the most lasting weight - which is part of what is so wrong with the world. We must cast aside appearances and illusions, for the sake of the great Mass and Energy seething beneath. We must Rend the Veil, but we must first ReUnite the Sundered Sword to do so.
Let all that is True prevail, to prosper as the Sun, to feed our weary hearts so that we may never again Hunger for Its Warmth.

 When we regard the Notion of an atom, we must no longer think specifically of the microscopic constituents of our Mass, but every instance of self-enclosed luminosity or consciousness. That is to say that, when we think of worlds of interacting information (as Einstein described them) - spheres such as our own solar system and its voluminous self-enclosing planetary and dark-comet matter field, or the sphere of an individual Human mind/body/soul, or a galactic supercluster with its Central Sun - we must remember that none is greater than the lesser, none lesser than the greater, all are simply interacting, spiralling orbits of information.
And so consciousness is the perception of that information, in all its orbits, dependent upon the Mass (aka Spacial-Temporal distortion - also Einstein) of the Observer. The best example of this phenomenon in practice is Sound, which is just kinetic motion of atoms, or as we hold now, interacting worlds of information. It stands to reason that if our relative observation of these dancing worlds is greater, then the "sound" of the so-called lesser worlds dancing will be higher-pitched; and if our relative observation of so-called larger masses, such as our sun and Earth and galaxy, is lesser, then the "sound" of those worlds dancing will be deep groans that we can feel resonating through our bones and water. Not surprising, then, that this is actually the case, and it can be observed that lesser relative mass-creatures such as mice and bats and mosquitoes do indeed make higher "pitches", and that greater relative mass-creatures such as trees and whales and houses make deep reverborating groans.
Whales and elephants create super-longwave infrasonic tones that resonate across vast distances, closer to the tonal groans of trees and rocks and the Planet. In such a way, whales represent a tonal algorhythm adapted to things far greater than us, but also represent all the lesser tonal constituents, namely humans (and all our water). The song can be thought of as less the by-product of kinetic interaction, and more the direct point. And what is the difference, if not in the varied Ear to Hear? The song is the consciousness, because the consciousness is the interaction, and so every point of the Ocean Interacting is alive with Song, equally. And greater still than every whale, the Song of the Ocean Interacting is all-encompassing, of every tone. From Turtle Island, we can hear the waves breaking on many distant shores, by-proxy of the Carriers of those tones encompassing all they Hear into their own groans.
The truth is that humans don't have to be whales to practice this kind of varying temporal perception, to be carriers of the song of consciousness. Once the individual recognizes that they are a part of the larger Mass - and all their lesser Masses a part of they - they bridge the gap between the supposed greater and the lesser, realizing that ALL levels and spheres have their lesser constituents and larger orders, and in such discard the notions of temporal and spacial reasoning as they are practiced in the linear population and become a creature/consciousness/perception that is sizeless and timeless, but also every time and every size. That individual becomes Lost in the Song... but when you are in the Song you are never truly lost. All parts are recognized. It is a society or an individual who adamantly refuses to take part in the song of consciousness that is inaccessable, blocked, but never permanently lost. It remains only for the water to wash them over once again, to remember the Tones that go with It.
We find the least song-blocks of any in our population, in the mindsoulsongs of Children. In children, the imagination is more acute and varied and less burdened by linear, material consciousness (one path, one repeated tone). This is also why they are more energetic, literally less weighted-down in terms of Mass and Consciousness. They are also closer to the Place of zero-mass, so-called non-existence in the material world, the subatomic and energetic and molecular, and so they have a closer memory of being weightless and limitless, instantly-transcendent of all tones and levels. Also attached to this energy/memory is the notion of Timelessness. Remember when a summer day lasted a lifetime? Now that you might be an adult (and I personally don't ever plan on becoming one myself), your day is full of stuff- things and appointments and commutes and events - all perfectly measured in minutes and miles and dollars - that obsess the individual in the "modern" world, but which deeply upset and frustrate the child inside that watched the clouds go by once upon a time.
All these things are related - time, mass, energy, complexity - in application, and that relation is that the more material complexity you try to pack into a smaller time, the less time and energy you will seem to have. Conversely, once you stop the mad rush to stack and catalogue your expectations and possessions, the sooner your time and energy will be freed to flow, and the sooner you will bridge that gap between relative worlds and stories, the sooner you will remember the Song, the sooner you will feel like a Kid again. The great Yogis are characterized by the smiles on their faces and their great levity of being, along with dogs and kids and dolphins at play.
You remembered this, yesterday. It's really not so far away...
