"True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing
lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked".

this quote caught me today... and I was reflecting on all the deep long loves and friendships I have had and have ... and strangely enough... the ones that have lasted years and years did come quietly and grew intensely. Long deep roots.... those loves. where you you can simply be yourself.. no need to push or pull - no need for explanations.. where you sip tea and feel so deeply embraced for being human...

yes.. perhaps like the sea... few of us survive the huge tsunami wave of emotions that beat and slap themselves against us... we enjoy the initial awakening and rush - such grand excitement... but then feel like a cliff that is being chiseled beyond any normal form... dissolved and crumbling... those emotional waves.. pull us so off center and take us on a journey out to the deep seas...it is hard to work, hard to concentrate, we are excited at first to lose the ego and surrender. Caught up in riding the waves. and simply trying to stay on the surf board.. . . .. all good - to live and experience the rushes... they stretch us..

but it is often the loves that start quietly that - well they have a different quality. Every one knows this who has gardened.. there are the quick growers - one season wow effect... and then there are the plants that stand the test of time... Yes, with the loves that start slowly and quietly.. we have time. Time to understand and integrate. We are not lost in a whirlwind of frenzy.. we see more clearly in their presence.. we reflect on life more deeply through talks and long walks.. In this quietude of trust and pure presence, we grow steadily ... we open deeply.. and the beauty is it stays... everlasting evergreen.

I was looking at this these last days. We are conditioned to look for the flash. Hollywood and the media sells the the diamonds and the WOW EFFECT... .. the ordinary and simple is rarely sold as extraordinary, except in the new wellness centers. There we then - strangely enough - slow it all down and to be able to find balance reduce it to the pure. Yes, we are conditioned to expect the intense ... when it comes to falling in love... we want someone to come and pull us OUT of our reality...

What if someone meets us in our reality? ... someone accepts our reality? .. What if we feel one hundred percent accepted as we are with no need to change a thing.. and we create consciously a new reality through choice. We choose to open deeply to love. There is no more insecurity... for we are love.

The relationship becomes our sadhana.. because we are fascinated by the other...curious, because we have gotten to a place where we love harmony, and resonance and flow and and are able to enjoy the time we have here on earth. We love being.. and know that the power of two on the same vibe is stronger than one.

I am in a philosophical mood - finishing the Essence Show and had a beautiful day at the zoo with kids. Watched the animals in all their splendor... watched them rub noses... and stand in the sun.. and swing on ropes... and lean against each other.. and take naps. and walk in circles - content... as I walked in circles, content, watching them watch me.. Odd realities we create... but yes... true love often does come quietly... like a gentle breeze... it is refreshing... enlightening and easy...

As the enlightened master Osho said, " the
ordinary love is a demand, the real love is sharing. It knows nothing of demand; it knows the joy of giving. The real love is a nourishment, it strengthens your soul. Become a servant of real love –and that means becoming a servant of love in its ultimate purity. Give, share whatsoever you are, share and enjoy sharing".

Have a beautiful start in the new week,

Love,
Kara

a first action to be healthy and vibrant is not to add more to our systems to
achieve health, but simply to eliminate the poisons entering from the outside,
through food and the environment.
